Methodology: A cross-sectional study was carried out among school going adolescents of Morang district, Nepal. The cluster random sampling was used to select the participants. Data was collected from 407 eligible participants using self reported version of strengths and difficulty questionnaire. Chi-square and binary logistic regression analysis were applied for assessing association between dependent and independent variables. Conduct problem was the most prevalent (16.5%), followed by emotional problem (14.3%) peer relationship (10.8%), hyperactivity (6.6%) and pro-social problem (5.4%). Variables such as gender, ethnicity types of school, parental education was found to be significantly associated (p= <0.05) in bivariate analysis and in multivariate analysis gender (AOR 2.132, p=0.001) was found to be strong predictors of emotional and behavioral problem among school going adolescents.
