As the country moves forward to a decentralized health system, the need for a similar instrument to rationalize the district healthcare delivery system led to discussions about the feasibility and desirability of developing a district health account (DHA), which focuses on identifying health issues at district level, particularly in terms of health expenditure, health care functions and sources of funding. |
