Summary, etc. ABSTRACT: <br/><br/> Objective: Objective of this study was to assess the knowledge and utilization of Reproductive Health. Method: The study was under taken in Baneshwor-10, Kathmandu district of Nepal. The study type was descriptive cross sectional. Self administered questionnaire was used to collect data from respondents. <br/><br/> Result: Majority of the respondents were female (64.0%). Among the total respondents, largest populations were from 14-16 age groups (68.0%) and majorities were from Janajati (48.0%). The largest respondents were Hindu as 90.0% and most of them from single family (58.0%). Majority of respondents as 56.0% explained about RH and 72.0% explained about puberty. The majority 88.0% respondents discussed about reproductive health with family and friends and remaining 12.0% didn't. Majority of respondents (66.0%) had heard about maternity care it means ensuring that all women receive the care they need to be safe and healthy through pregnancy and childbirth and the least percent 8.0% as it is a care given to newborn. The majority of respondents (60.0%) answered STDs as it is sexually transmitted diseases and majority of respondents as 50.0% answered through unsafe sexual relation as mode of transmission of STDs. Majority of respondents 46.0% answered through not to have multiple partners to prevent STDs. Majority of the respondents (80.0% ) answered HIV as it is a disease caused by HIV virus . Majority of respondents (68.0%) answered through not having multiple sex partners and not transferring infected blood HIV can prevent.
