Summary, etc. ABSTRACT: <br/><br/>Background : Mushar is the natural phenomenon an poorest people in world .it is a creating humanitarian, social and economic, and culture problems in many countries of the world including Nepal ,improving ability of the health system to reach the poor population is important for health and essential to mitigate the ill health in Nepal .The issue of health seeking behaviour is crucial to Mushar society . <br/><br/>Objective: To asess the Health seeking behaviour of Mushar community people in Ishworpur municipality in Sarlahi district. <br/><br/>Methodology: A Descriptive cross sectional study was be conducted using population proportionate sampling in Dalit area of all Ishworpur Municipality of Sarlahi district of Nepal. Sample size is 179 above the 18 years Mushar people interview was be done with closed ended Questionnaire for data collection. <br/><br/>Result : The study shows that the mean age of the study participant was 68. 111 (62.01%) were male and 68 (37.99%) were Female. out of 179 population (n=179) 163 (91.06%) visited health facility where as 16 (8.94%) not health facility. among 179 respondent 132 (73.74%) went to government health facilities .36 (20.11%) went to private hospital .where as 9 (5.03%) went to private clinic and 2 (1.12%) went for homeopathy. <br/><br/> Key words : Health Seeking Behaviour; Mushar population; of Ishworpur Municipality in Sarlahi Districts
