Summary, etc. ABSTRACT: Career is an occupation undertaken for a significance period of time of a person's life and with opportunities for progress. A nurse is a person who is trained to give care (help) to people who are sick or injured. The movement of people from one place to another has shaped today's political, social and economic world and continues to be a major influence on society. There are now targeted recruitment drives for health workers from resource-poor countries to fill vacancies in richer countries, especially nurses. The migration of nurses has been encountered as the huge threat in the developing countries as the countries are lacking skilled manpower. The migration of nurses has a direct impact in the process of providing health services. The objectives of the study was to identify different factors influencing under graduates nurses choosing career in abroad. The cross-sectional descriptive study design was used in the study to identify factors influencing nurses choosing career in abroad among three consultancies by using non probability purposive sampling technique. The research instrument included socio-demographic variables, education related variables, work related variables, push factors related variables and pull factors related variables. The data was analyzed using descriptive statistics. Study findings revealed that many of nurses had ranked very important push factor were personal ambition (60.9%) and very important pull factor were better job (62.3%), better career (54.3%). Similarly, majority of nurses had ranked very important factors for choosing career in abroad were low salary, lack of career opportunity, better job, high salary, lack of job opportunity, lack of satisfactory working condition, high employment, and personal marketability.
