The mean knowledge score on meaning, risk factors, signs and symptoms, complications and control method of hypertension and signs and symptoms of complications, and preventive measures of hypertensive complications was 19.00 with standard deviation (SD) 10.855 in pre-test. Similarly the mean knowledge score of above mentioned variables was 41.83 with the SD 9.355 in the post- test. Hypothesis was also tested to measure the change in knowledge as a whole on above mentioned variables among hypertensive clients between pre-test and post-test. p value of paired sample t test was found 0.000 (<0.05) which reveals accepted of research hypothesis.
