So, the main aim of this study is to assess the prevalence with low back pain among the bank employee of PM. Methodology: Across-sectional study was conducted between June to December 2022 among 334 bank employees of Pokhara metropolitan, kaski District, Nepal. Self – administered was done to collect the information. Structured questionnaire b consulting with supervisor and by extensive literature review was used to assess the prevalence with low back pain among the bank employee. Data were entered in to EpiData v3.1 and exported to SPSS version 21 statistical software for analysis. A Chisquare test was performed to assess the association between the Low Back Pain and independent variables. Results: The prevalence for low LBP was found to be 36.52%, the female were high i.e. 54.5 % compared to male. Gender (p=0.012), Marital status (p=0.021), educational status (p=0.019), work related stress (p=0.005) and sleeping pattern (p=0.043) were positively associated with LBP. However using a computer per a day, lifting object, sitting position and duration of computer use were associated with LBP with p value =0.004, 0.009, 0.019, 0.024 respectively. Conclusion: There a high prevalence of LBP among bank employees of Pokhara metropolitan. The work-related factors including use of computer per day, sitting position and duration of computer use play a significant role in developing LBP among bank employees. However, several factors including age, gender, marital status, educational status, work related stress, physical activity as well as sleeping pattern were associated with LBP among bank employees.
